 Full Circle  Trail Run

Full Circle Trail Run

image.png

This incredible natural area (now known as LLELA) was originally wild and beautiful, full of an endless number of native species. When settlement began long ago, this area was farmed. Many years later when the Lewisville Lake dam was completed, the area was condemned for flood control and all but abandoned. As the population grew, it became a forgotten island of green surrounded by suburbia. At the same time, nature slowly began to creep back in all on its own.

Now LLELA, the University of North Texas, and the City of Lewisville are working together to help bring back the wild, by reclaiming it, protecting it, and making beautiful experiences possible for generations to come.  As the partnership works daily to restore and replenish the native plant, tree, and animal life, they are bringing the natural environment back

Aid Station

For this event there will only be one aid station at the start finish and it will be "fully serviced". There will be no aid stations on course, but racers will see the start/finish line aid station either every 3.1 miles or every 4.37 miles.

For this event at a "fully serviced" aid station,  you will be able to find the following for fuel:

Cookies, PBJ sandwiches, Oranges, Bananas, Watermelons, Pickles, Pickle Juice, , Fruit Snacks, Pringles, Coke, Mt. Dew, Ginger Ale, Tailwind & Saltstick

We have found that these items will allow runners to properly fuel themselves to get through any ultra.

Disclaimer: We are a CUPLESS EVENT! For those new to the trail running world/etiquette, we like to treat our venues with respect and do not use plastic or styrofoam to serve out water. Please bring your own cup, water bottle, hydration vest, or other form of water containment so we can help maintain the clean environment we are permitted to use for this event.
